- Knowledge of HTML code
Copies of EveryCloud's spam report source code and mail delivered notification source code are attached to this article. These are EveryCloud's default scripts so you can have a look and alter as much as you'd like. Keep a back up of the original code for change management.
You can alter the code, for example, add your own logo link, and apply them to templates in the Control Panel:
Navigate to the 'Management' tab and click your partner name, you will see the 'Template' tab to the right.
Click on the 'Template' tab and you can then click on the 'Add' button to add a new - > email template -> spam report -> your language. Copy and paste your modified spam report code into the Body/Text: field, overwriting all existing text. Customize the Name and Subject fields as needed. Click the Apply button and your spam report template will be added to the list.
Next, click on the Add button again to add a new - > HTML Template - > HTML Mail Delivered -> your language. Copy and paste your modified mail delivered code into the Body/Text: field, overwriting all existing text. Click the Apply button and your mail delivered template will be added to the list.
Click the Save button.
Now you can go to each of your customer's primary domains and navigate to Email - > Spam Report tab to apply your new spam report template.
Click the Save button.
Note about DKIM:
Should you wish to change the "from address" for the Spam reports, please note that these may fail DKIM checking unless you have added the correct DNS entry. Please refer to our DKIM page https://support.everycloud.com/support/solutions/articles/4000126100-domainkeys-identified-mail-dkim-
Which describes in more detail how to add a CNAME for the DKIM key for domains sending out via EveryCloud.
If no template is added, the system will automatically use the default templates from EveryCloud
